What is the Mentoring Program?
The LMNOP Mentor Program provides one-on-one interaction and small group sessions for members seeking advice and direction in the development of professional skills from experienced professionals in the Architecture and Design community.
How does the Mentor Program work?
Members fill out a Mentor Program Checklist indicating which areas of expertise they are comfortable giving advice in (Mentors) or which areas they are seeking guidance (Mentees).
The Checklist can be found on the LMNOP Member website at http://lmnopnyc.org/lmnop-mentor-program-application. Checklists can also be requested by email at mentor@lmnopnyc.org. Suggested pairings of Mentees and Mentors are based on matching areas of interest/expertise.
How much time is required from a Mentor?
The program is designed to be extremely flexible. The time and effort expended by each participant differs, as does the type of activity in which participants engage. Mentors give as much time as they deem necessary and are able to.
